Recital and Discussion for EPTA West of Scotland

On Sunday 13 September Stephen and Avril will be presenting a programme of duets for the European Piano Teachers Association West of Scotland branch in Glasgow.  We are hoping to have a discussion about the piano duet repertoire.

Recital for Dundee Disabled Children's Association

Stephen and Avril will be playing Ravel's Ma mere l'oye along with two Military Marches by Granados and Rachamaninoff's Romance and Waltz for piano Six Hands featuring Nicol Foggie.  Other soloists will be John Marshall, Tenor and Shelagh Fuller, cello.

Armstrong Evans Duo Edinburgh Debut

Stephen and Avril will be giving an evening recital at the Edinburgh Society of Musicians on Saturday 30 May 2015.  The programme will include Schubert's Fantasia in F Minor and Ravel's Ma mere l'oye.  Email for details

University of Dundee Lunchtime Recital 1 May 2015

Avril and I will be giving a duet recital at the University of Dundee on Friday 1 May.  The 30 minute lunchtime recital will start at 13:20pm in the Chaplaincy Centre on their lovely Boesendorfer grand piano.  Program to be announced.

An Evening of Scottish Music

Avril and Stephen will be performing for the Foundation of the High School of Dundee to raise money for school bursaries.  These funds will help less well off pupils receive an education at one of Scotland's finest independent day schools.  

We will be performing along side several other members of the music department.

This has proven to be a bit of a challenge to find music for piano duet, but after trawling youtube and various other websites we have come up with some great music.

Music at St John's Kirk of Perth

Stephen and Avril will give their Perth debut recital in the stunning St John's Kirk church in Perth. The concert which is on Sunday 5 February start at 3pm and lasts around an hour. Their programme will include Rachmaninoff's 6 Pieces Opus 11, Ravel's famous and stunningly beautiful Mother Goose Suite. They conclude their recital with Moritz Moszkowski's 5 Spanish Dances. Perth Debut

On Sunday 5 February 2012 Stephen and Avril will give a recital at St John's Kirk in Perth Scotland. The Church has just undergone a massive refurbishment complete with new Brodmann 7 foot grand piano! Howard Duthie is the Organist and director of music at the church is organising these Sunday mid-afternoon concerts! Programme to be confirmed. Email for further details.
